Greeen Smoothie

I finally purchased some Xanthan gum, which is basically just a thickening agent, to make my smoothies, well….more thick and creamier.

I know it doesn’t look the most appetizing, but it was delicious and you can’t taste the spinach – I promise.    It was thick enough that I just put in it a bowl and ate it with a spoon.

Wednesday’s smoothie: A Quick and easy breakfast.

1 cup 8th continent soy milk, light vanilla

18 grams Gaspari Myofusion protein powder

½ frozen banana (I unpeel and freeze bananas when they start to go bad)

½ cup water

1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa

1 tsp. Xanthan gum

A big handful of fresh spinach (A great tip I just read – if your spinach starts to go bad stick it in the freezer for these types of smoothies, why didn’t I think of that….)
